Quarndon Fireworks! Save the date. This year it's Saturday 9th November

The date for the Quarndon Fireworks this year is Saturday 9th November

Quarndon Events, Quarndon Cricket Club and Quarndon Parish Council are again working together to orgaise a community event. This year we have booked an automated firework display and there will be the usual hot food and a bar.

Walk and Picnic - Let’s get together

Quarndon Events is facilitating this new event on Saturday 29th June 2019.

Meet at the Cricket Club at 2pm to receive a map of village walks along our lovely footpaths. There will be a short walk with a treasure hunt for children and a longer walk for the enthusiastic walkers.

Church Road closed 26th-28th March

Church Road will be closed near Queenies from 1900 on Tuesday 26th March until 0600 on Thursday 28th March. The closure is to carry out the installation of flood monitoring equipment.

Kedleston Road Development

The request to have the case for building houses on the land adjacent to Kedleston Road reviewed by the Supreme Court has been turned down.

This means that development of the site with up to 400 houses will now take place. The first step will be a detailed planning application.
