Arson damage to St Paul's

On the night of Thursday 15th Oct the bins at St Paul's were moved close to the Church and set alight. An attempt was also been made to access the building via climbing up to a window but they were unable to enter. There is some damage to the outer wall and the stained glass but no damage inside the Church. If you live near St Paul's and have CCTV cameras please check the footage and contact the police... Bonfire Night 2020

Sparkling fireworks

Quarndon's village fireworks may have been cancelled this year, but Quarndon Community Group has a suggestion to take its place.

The idea is to invite villagers to light their own fireworks and rockets at 7pm (precisely) on the evening of Thursday 5th November.

Bunkers Hill Topograph returned to its former glory

Bunkers Hill Topograph with graffiti removed

Parish Council volunteers have removed the unsightly graffiti defacing the Topograph. You can see the Topograph looking good once more in the accompanying photograph.

Criminal Damage to Topograph

Bunkers Hill Topograph tagged by vandals

The Bunkers Hill topography has been defaced by vandals, probably during the evening or night of August 17th - 18th.

Do you have any knowledge about when this mindless act took place? Do you know of any further examples of these 'tags' in the area? Please contact chairman@quarndon-pc.gov.uk so Quarndon Parish Council can take further action with the police.
