Quarndon Bonfire and Fireworks 29th Oct

The event, organised by Quarndon Parish Council, was a great success. We estimate that about 500 people came and enjoyed the impressive bonfire and the spectacular firework display.

We were lucky that the evening was fine with little wind. Children enjoyed the mini funfair (teapot and cups!). The drinks and food stalls did a roaring trade with long queues at times.

Many thanks to the Stubley family for their hard work and, of course, the use of their field. The cows are now back in the field!
