I ran past several famous landmarks,... Read More »

The 3rd Repair Café event was held on Saturday. It was Bank Holiday so we were prepared for it to be quiet. For the first 45 minutes the reduced number of Repairers and helpers (due to holidays) had to sit and drink coffee and sample homemade cake while chatting. Someone has to do it!

Many thanks to those of you who put the poppies up in their gardens and for contributions you have made to the Royal British Legion. There are now 83 poppies spread around the village which is pretty impressive.
It was rather a rush for the Parish Council to get the poppies ready and distributed in time but it's been a great success. I would like to thank the resident (who wishes to remain anonymous)... Read More »
