On Saturday 14th September Quarndon Events presents an evening of fish, chips and mushy peas with Alistair Fraser-Moodie. Alistair has worked as an A and E consultant in Derby for thirty of his fifty-four years in the NHS.

Annual Village Litter Pick

Meet at Quarndon Village Hall at 10.00am to collect equipment for the litter pick. This is an ideal opportunity for a family walk in the village and maybe suggest a solution to the mystery of the occasional single shoe and lonely glove found by the roadside.

Severn Trent: Essential Water Pipe replacement in Quarndon

Severn Trent will be carrying out work to replace many of the old water pipes through the village. The work starts on 20th March and will last approx 15 weeks. There will be road closures.

Severn Trent are holding a drop-in session in the Quarndon Village Hall on Tuesday 20th Feb from 3:30pm - 7pm to explain what will be happening and discuss any issues.

St. Paul's Spring Fair Saturday 21st May

St Paul's Spring Fair will be taking place in the Church and Church Hall on Saturday 21 May, from 2pm.

There will be various stalls, games and activities and refreshments including home made cakes.

Everyone is welcome to an afternoon of fun and fellowship for all.

Admission is free, with proceeds to church funds.

Neighbourhood Plan - Public Meeting on 6th April

Residents of Quarndon together with the Quarndon Parish Council are investigating the viability of a Neighbourhood Plan for our village. The aim of the plan is to devolve some control over the future of our neighbourhoods to the local residents.
