Quarndon Cricket Club write:
'Formed in 1884, we are very proud of our history and are long standing members of the Derbyshire County Cricket League. We run four senior teams with the 1st XI competing in DCCL Division 1.
Our Junior section is very highly regarded: starting with All Stars and Dynamos our juniors progress to hardball at U11, U12, U13, U15 and U17 levels. Many juniors play at county level and many players make the transition from junior to senior level.
We pride ourselves on the inclusive nature of our club, on both the playing and the social side. Our fantastic facilities include two grade A grounds, an all-weather pitch, a two-lane, all weather net facility, clubhouse and pavilion.
The club opens at weekends and most evenings from mid-April until mid-September. We run a well-stocked bar including wine, beers, lagers, soft drinks and snacks.
The social side of QCC begins at junior level and continues through to senior level, with regular events throughout the year, encouraging the wider community to join in.
Please come and enjoy the superb facilities, beautiful surroundings and the chance to watch some excellent cricket.'
