Quarndon Events

Quarndon Events is a society run by volunteers to promote and run social events for the village. In the past we have organised Open Gardens, Fireworks Nights, Talk & Chips Evenings, Quiz Nights, Scarecrow, Christmas lights & Poetry trails and Jubilee celebrations.

We always need new members and welcome new ideas and energy. Please get in touch at quarndonevents@gmail.com if you would like to join the team or have any suggestions for future events. It's a great way to meet others from the village and is a lot of fun.

The Quarndon Events Annual General Meeting will take place at 11.30am on Saturday 25th October (during the Repair cafe - drinks and cake available) in the Committee Room at the Village Hall.

The agenda will cover the minutes from the last AGM, elections of key posts such as the chair, secretary and treasurer, and plans for events in 2026 and beyond.

This is an open meeting and we welcome all-comers to share their thoughts, or just be an observer. We would love to expand our small team of volunteers, so if you'd like to be part of a team creating fun events for the village please do come along, or email quarndonevents@gmail.com for an informal chat about how you could get involved.

The legendary QE quiz is back!

This time it's a Spooktacular event, with all the usual mayhem - a round of scary pictures, some horrible and revolting questions, and an activity session where you can flex your creative elbows.

Book as teams of 6, 7 or 8, or come along and join in with others.

Place: Quarndon Village Hall. Date: Saturday 1st November Time: 6.30 for a 7pm start.

Cash raffle.

Tckets £12.50 each in advance by emailing quarndonevents@gmail.com .

Price includes a small fish and chips supper (allergy information can be obtained from the manager at George's Tradition Tel 01332 557888).

Bring your own drinks and snacks.

We will be donating £1 from each ticket to a local charity.
